KIRE · DELETE YOUR DATA

Delete

You may not need to

Kire works without an account. If you never signed in, nothing about you is stored on our servers: your puzzle history, streaks and settings live only on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing site data in your browser, deletes all of it. There is nothing for us to erase.

You only have an account if you chose to sign in with Google Play Games (app) or Google Sign-In (web) to back your progress up.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Kire data”. So we can find the right account, please tell us:

We do not need a password and will never ask for one. We will confirm once the erase has run. Requests are actioned within 30 days, and normally much sooner.

What gets deleted

Everything we hold against your account is erased:

What is kept, and why

Purchase records. If you bought anything, we keep the Google Play order identifier and what it granted. Two reasons: it lets an entitlement be restored, and it stops the same order being redeemed twice. These records are unlinked from your account when we erase it, so they no longer identify you. Google Play holds its own record of the transaction independently of us; see Google’s privacy policy.

Anonymous analytics and crash reports. These were never tied to your account; they carry a random device identifier instead, so there is no account to remove them from. They age out on their own: analytics after 14 months, crash reports after 90 days. You can stop them at any time with the “Share anonymous diagnostics” toggle in the app.
